A legacy of healthcare and commitment to serving families of rural Oklahoma
Our History
Our family has a long-standing connection to rural Oklahoma, with deep roots in communities across the state. Having grown up in rural communities ourselves, we have a deep understanding of what rural life really means. We know that rural communities are often underserved when it comes to healthcare and other essential services, and we are committed to using our expertise to address these needs.
Our maternal grandfather, Dr. Marshall Ingram, was a prime example of this commitment to rural healthcare. He spent over 40 years of his life serving as a family physician in Hinton and helped establish the Weatherford Regional Hospital. He understood the unique challenges facing rural communities and worked tirelessly to address them.
Our mother, who owned and operated Marsha's Health Mart in Hinton for 15 years, continued this legacy of service to rural communities. She understood the importance of providing compassionate care to patients in the area, including those living in nursing homes in Hinton, Binger, and Hydro. Her work in the community showed us the value of meeting the unique needs of rural communities and inspired us to follow in her footsteps.
Our mother served on the Hinton School Board for almost 20 years. She currently provides piano lessons and tutoring services to children in the community. She has also served as the church pianist at First Baptist Church in Hinton for 45+ years.
Our dad has been an advisor and chairman for Oklahoma’s WatersEdge Ministry Services for nearly 10 years as well as served the Hinton community as a deacon, little league coach and CPA.
Our aunt and uncle, Jimmy and Kim Ingram, are active members of the Weatherford community, with businesses in the area, and experience as a city council member and former school board member. Their involvement in the community has taught us the importance of giving back and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Our family is spread across various parts of Oklahoma, including Hinton, Lookeba, Binger, Weatherford, Norman, Ada, Elgin, Duncan, Oklahoma City, and Konowa. This has allowed us to gain a broader understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural communities throughout the state.
As pediatric occupational therapists, we understand the unique challenges facing children and families in rural communities. We are committed to using our expertise to provide high-quality care to these communities, regardless of where they are located. Our rural roots run deep, and we are proud to continue our family's legacy of service to others.
